A club membership is more than the classes. Between meetings you keep learning on our platform: lessons with exercises, an editor for your own texts, a personal dictionary and a word trainer. All of it is already included.
2Afterwards, open the meeting’s materials in your account — on your phone or computer.
3Do the exercises and write your texts; the teacher checks them.
4Save new words to your dictionary and practise them for a few minutes a day.
01
Lessons that check themselves
Every meeting’s materials are on the platform. The exercises are checked at once: you see what is right and what is not, and you can try again.
How it helpsWhat you covered on Sunday sticks, because you go over it at home while it is fresh.
02
An editor for your own texts
Write right in the lesson — one text or an answer to each question. The site counts the words and tells you how many are still needed. Then send it to the teacher.
How it helpsWriting on your own is the best way to find out whether you really have the grammar and the words.
03
Corrections from the teacher
The teacher corrects right in your text: you see what was struck out and what was added, plus a short comment on what went well and what to work on. No grades.
How it helpsYou see your own mistakes — and stop repeating them.
04
A dictionary in every text
An unknown word or phrase? Press and hold it to see its meaning, gender and every form from Bokmålsordboka and Nynorskordboka. One tap puts it in your dictionary.
How it helpsNo switching between tabs and translators — you keep reading in Norwegian.
05
Your own dictionary
All your saved words in one place: new, learnt and the hard ones. A daily goal, a streak of days in a row and a calendar of the month keep the rhythm.
How it helpsA language rests on habit: a few minutes a day do more than an hour once a week.
06
The trainer: 12 kinds of tasks
Cards, picking the translation, words by ear, gender, a word in a sentence, building it from letters, writing it yourself. Words you know come back less often, the hard ones sooner.
How it helpsWords move from «I’ve seen it somewhere» to «I know it and can say it» — with the right pronunciation.
07
Word forms
A separate mode for grammar: singular and plural, the definite form, verb tenses (presens, preteritum, perfektum), komparativ and superlativ.
How it helpsForms are what most often breaks a sentence — here they become automatic.
08
«Lightning» and badges
A minute against the clock: match the pairs and beat your own record. And after 10 days of practice in a row, the «Ten Days in a Row» badge appears in your profile.
How it helpsLearning becomes fun — and you want to come back tomorrow.
And other teachers’ courses
Other teachers — of English, Norwegian and other languages — can run their own courses on the platform. The courses they share with the club open to club members at no extra cost.
How it helpsOne membership — more ways to learn.
Why a membership is easier
Cheaper than paying per class
On average ≈ 115 kr a class instead of 130 kr (≈ 58 instead of 70 without the café) — about 60 kr saved a month. The exact sum depends on how many Sundays the month has: with five, the fifth class is on us.
No paying every Sunday
It is charged once a month automatically, and the receipt comes by e-mail.
Paid ahead — a reason to come
When the class is already paid for, it is easier not to skip Sundays.
No commitment
Cancel any time in your account on the site.
Fair rules. You pay for the month, not for each Sunday. Five classes instead of four? The fifth is on us. Missed one? The price stays the same — we don’t refund missed classes.
Where the money goes
Learning materials, tea and coffee, printouts, paper, ink and other stationery. If we are ever billed for the room, this money is the backup — and in time it can help us rent a space of our own.
