This page explains how this website uses cookies and similar technologies.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies are used to make a website work, to remember your choices, and – in some cases – to measure how the site is used.
2. Cookies and local storage we use
This website does not set tracking cookies. We use one strictly necessary cookie for signing in to your personal page; everything else is small settings kept in your browser’s local storage:

Settings in local storage never leave your device and are not sent to anyone; the exception is ukk-vid and ukk-sid, which are sent with the statistics only to our own website and only if you pressed “Accept”. The ukk_session cookie is sent only to our own website to recognise that you are signed in; it is not used for tracking.
3. Analytics and marketing
We do not use marketing cookies. For statistics we use two tools:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — no cookies, no consent needed.
- Microsoft Clarity — sets cookies (
_clck,_clskand others, up to 1 year), so it only starts after you press “Accept” in the banner. Your choice is kept in your browser’s local storage (ukk-consent). You can change it at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; after “Decline” Clarity no longer loads and its cookies are deleted.
Strictly necessary settings like the ones above do not require consent under Norwegian law.
4. Embedded content from other sites
Some pages may include content from other services, for example a video or a map. When that content loads, the other service can set its own cookies and receive your IP address. We recommend reading the cookie information of the service in question. [Remove this section if no embedded content is used.]
5. How to control cookies and stored settings
You can delete stored settings and cookies through your browser, usually under Privacy or Security in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. If you clear them, the site simply returns to its default appearance.
