We strive for the Ukrainian community in Voss to be a visible, united, and active part of local society — rooted in our own heritage and open to the Norwegian world around us.
Ukrainsk kultur og Kunnskapssenter was founded to give Ukrainians in Voss a place to belong — a space where culture, language, and tradition stay alive, while we build new lives and friendships here in Norway. We bring people together through choral singing, traditional dance, art meetups where children draw and create together, and shared celebrations, and we work to make that culture visible and welcoming to our Norwegian neighbors too.
Beyond culture, we support education and inclusion — helping newcomers navigate life in Norway, connect with local institutions, and find their footing, while making sure no one has to do it alone.
